Lameck Banda Returns as Head Coach of F.C MUZA
Maestro United Zambia Football Club (F.C MUZA) is thrilled to announce the return of Lameck Banda as the new head coach, effective immediately. Banda, who previously led the team to the CAF Confederation Cup and the 2023 ABSA Cup finals, takes over from Mathews Ndhlovu, whose contract expired at the end of the 2023/2024 season.
New Technical Team Structure:
Head Coach: Lameck Banda
Assistant Coaches: Ernest Malambo, Cosmas Mujika
Goalkeeper Coach: Masauso Phiri
Equipment Manager: Matthews Mwale
Physical Trainer: Benson Chiwaya (former assistant coach at Nchanga Rangers and Circuit City)
The club has parted ways with assistant coach Billy Imonda, whose contract also ended last season.
Chief Executive Officer Joel Kabika expressed confidence that Banda’s appointment will strengthen the technical bench and drive the team towards further success in the Super League and continental competitions. He also extended gratitude to the outgoing coach, Mathews Ndhlovu, for his dedication and significant contributions during his tenure, wishing him well in his future endeavors.
