Saileti on MTN Super League Fixtures: “Mindset Must Reflect the League We’re In”
Kansanshi Dynamos Head Coach calls for mental readiness ahead of top-flight return. Kansanshi Dynamos Head Coach Zeddy Saileti has responded to the release of the 2025/26 MTN Super League fixtures with a clear message: the team must shift into top gear—both physically and mentally—as they prepare for their return to Zambia’s top flight.
The Solwezi-based club, newly promoted from National League, begins its campaign with a high-profile home clash against Kabwe Warriors on August 16 at Independence Stadium. Saileti, who guided the team to promotion, emphasized that the fixture drop provides a blueprint for a focused and mentally sharp pre-season.
“This Is a Higher Level” – Saileti Emphasizes Mentality Shift
“I’m happy the fixture is already out. It gives us a platform to prepare properly as a team,” Saileti said. “Pre-season is not just about fitness; it’s about mentally preparing the players for the demands of the Super League.”
With an early schedule that includes a trip to Zanaco FC in Week 2 and a visit to Mutondo Stars at Arthur Davies Stadium in Week 4—a club Saileti once coached—the Kansanshi boss is urging his players to embrace the elevated challenge.
“They must realize they are no longer in the lower league. This is the Super League, where every team fights for points.”
Early Tests for Mabanga Boys
Saileti and his technical bench are under no illusions. With a Week 3 home tie against fellow promoted side Konkola Blades, and tough away trips to Sunset Stadium and Shinde Stadium, there are no soft landings in their Super League return.
“We’re not singling out teams. Every game will be a battle. The key is preparation and the players understanding their roles at this level,” Saileti said.
He further revealed that squad evaluations are ongoing, with goalkeeping being one of the areas identified for possible reinforcement. “It’s a long season, and depth is crucial.”

Kansanshi Dynamos Ready to Compete and Establish Themselves
After clinching promotion through grit and consistency, the Mabanga Boys are now rallying behind this season’s theme—“Unified We Succeed”—as they seek to make their mark in the top flight.
“The league is competitive, and that’s good for us. It pushes us to stay sharp. We want to make sure Kansanshi Dynamos is here to stay,” Saileti concluded.
With belief, structure, and a clear message from their coach, Kansanshi Dynamos are not just happy to be back in the Super League—they’re here to compete.
