Zanaco FC have strengthened their defensive department with the signings of Namibian international centre-back Sisqo Baggio Haraseb and right-back Kaumba Samwangala as the Bankers continue to reinforce their squad for the 2026 MTN Super League Transitional Season.
Haraseb joins the Lusaka-based outfit on a contract running until the end of the 2026 transitional season, having most recently featured for Iraqi side Al-Qasim SC.
The Namibian defender brings experience from different leagues, having previously represented Mighty Gunners in Namibia and Botswana outfit Mochudi Centre Chiefs SC.
Meanwhile, Samwangala has completed a permanent transfer from Crown FC, signing a two-year contract with Zanaco.
The right-back has previously featured for Mufulira Blackpool and Crown FC in Zambia, while also gaining experience with Dubai-based Baynounah SC.
The two arrivals provide Zanaco with additional options in defence, with Haraseb strengthening the centre-back position and Samwangala offering cover at right-back.
The Bankers will be hoping the new signings can contribute to their ambitions as they look to strengthen their squad and remain competitive during the remainder of the transitional season.
