MTN Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos have strengthened their attacking department with the signing of Ugandan forward Joseph Ssemujju on a 17-month contract.
The Solwezi-based Fearless Mabanga Boys confirmed the arrival of the striker on Tuesday, with his contract running from August 2026 to December 2027. Ssemujju joins the club as a free agent after most recently featuring for Uganda Premier League side URA FC.
The forward, who primarily operates as a striker, becomes the latest addition to Kansanshi Dynamos as they prepare for the 2026 Transitional League, which is scheduled to begin on 3 October.
Kansanshi Target Competitive Squad
Club General Secretary Mweshi Mupeta said Ssemujju’s arrival forms part of the club’s efforts to build a competitive squad ahead of the new campaign.
“We are pleased to welcome Joseph to Kansanshi Dynamos. We believe his qualities will add value to the team as we prepare for the Transitional League.”
The signing adds further attacking options to a Kansanshi side that has been active in strengthening its squad ahead of the transitional campaign.
Ssemujju Promises Goals
Ssemujju is confident he can make an immediate impact for the Fearless Mabanga Boys, particularly in front of goal.
“I’m excited and happy to be here. Kansanshi Dynamos fans should expect goals because I’m a striker, and my role is to try and score goals,” he said.
The Ugandan forward also expressed his desire to continue improving as a player while helping Kansanshi Dynamos achieve their objectives.
