Nkana FC striker Lazarous Kambole has added another fan-voted accolade to his collection after winning the Goal of the Week award with more than 565 votes for his memorable dummy and ice-cold finish against Nchanga Rangers.
Kambole earned the recognition for his composed finish, which caught the attention of supporters and secured him the weekly award. His latest achievement comes as the Nkana forward continues to make an impact in the 2026 MTN Super League Transitional Season.
The striker is also currently joint top scorer in the league with three goals, level with FC MUZA forward Lewis Kasano. The scoring record puts Kambole among the leading attacking performers in the early stages of the campaign as he continues to find the net for the Kitwe giants.
The Goal of the Week award adds to Kambole’s growing list of individual achievements this season. In Week Two, he was also voted Fans’ Player of the Week, making this his second fan-voted honour after supporters recognised his contribution to the team.
Winning both awards underlines the appreciation Kambole has received from Nkana fans, with his goal against Nchanga Rangers earning further recognition. The club also thanked everyone who took the time to vote and support the striker in the Goal of the Week poll.
With three league goals already to his name and a share of the top scorer lead, Kambole will be looking to maintain his scoring form as Nkana continue their campaign. His latest award provides further recognition of his performances, while the race for the league’s Golden Boot remains one to watch as the season progresses
