Zeddy Saileti Vows Strong Return for Kansanshi Dynamos in Zambian Super League
Having secured their promotion back to top-flight football, Zeddy Saileti has outlined Kansanshi Dynamos‘ ambitions to establish a strong presence in the Zambian Premier Super League.
The Mabanga Boys clinched promotion with an impressive campaign, remaining unbeaten at home throughout the season. Their latest triumph came on Wednesday at Solwezi Independence Stadium, where they edged Young Green Buffaloes 1-0 in a rescheduled Week 30 fixture.
Kelvin Chisamba was the hero, netting the decisive goal in the 80th minute to ensure the team collected all three points.
Speaking after the match, an elated Saileti dedicated the win to the fans who had stood by the team through thick and thin.
“Very excited especially that we were playing at home, we wanted to give our fans a last win of our home game this season. Even the players, I told them to die a little for our fans because they have been there for us,” said the former Mutondo Stars boss.
Looking ahead, Saileti emphasized that preparations for the Super League must start immediately.
“We need to strategize as a team and the Exco, we need to sit down and replan. Of course, it’s a big league. Super Division is where we belong and I can assure you that we shall be ready for the Super League. We just need to plan well in pre-season,” he stated confidently.
With just one match left in the campaign, Kansanshi Dynamos sit second on the table with 65 points, trailing Konkola Blades by four points. Their season so far boasts an impressive record of 18 wins, 11 draws, and only four losses.
As the Mabanga Boys gear up for their final match, fans can look forward to a well-prepared and competitive Kansanshi Dynamos ready to make a mark in the 2025/26 Zambian Premier Super League season.
