MTN Super League side Kansanshi Dynamos have appointed Denis Makinka as their new head coach following the departure of Mohamed Fathi, whose contract expired on 31 May 2026.
Makinka, who previously served as the club’s assistant coach, has signed a 17-month contract that will keep him at Independence Stadium until 31 December 2027.
The appointment was confirmed in a statement issued by the club’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Gwen Mulundu Chipasula.

Makinka joined the Fearless Mabanga Boys in November 2025 as assistant coach and quickly became an integral member of the technical bench.
