ZESCO United announces the departure of Technical Director Honour Janza after one-and-half-years at the club.
Janza joined the nine-times Zambian Super League Champions in December 2022, becoming the club’s first Technical Director in the new management structure.
“We would like to thank Honour Janza for his contribution to the growth of this football club. The immense knowledge inculcated into the club particularly through our coaches at all levels will go a long way in delivering future success at this great club,” ZESCO United Chief Executive Officer, Charles Kalala said.
The elite CAF Coaching Instructor departs the club after a season which has seen ZESCO United finish second in the Zambian Super League, securing qualification to the 2024-2025 CAF Confederation Cup.
During his tenure, Janza played a pivotal role in enhancing the club’s strategic direction and coaching standards. His expertise and vision were integral to the development of both the senior team and the youth academy, ensuring a solid foundation for the club’s future endeavors.
As ZESCO United prepares for the upcoming season, the search for a new Technical Director begins, with the club aiming to build on the solid groundwork laid by Janza. The club expresses its gratitude and best wishes to Honour Janza in his future endeavors.
