Prison Leopards Appoint Elijah Chikwanda as Technical Director
Prison Leopards, a prominent Zambia Super League side, has announced the appointment of Elijah Chikwanda as their new Technical Director. In his new role, Chikwanda will collaborate closely with Lameck Banda, who continues to serve as the head coach of the team.

ELIJAH CHIKWANDA APPOINTED AS PRISON LEOPARDS TD
Prison Leopards Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of veteran coach, Elijah Chikwanda as Technical Director for the team until the end of the 2023/24 MTN Super Division season.
With the team’s current position on the log, this move aims at helping the club’s efforts to fight away from relegation zone.
Lameck Banda will continue as Head Coach, with Bupe Chewe and Collins Mulenga also maintaining there roles as first and second assistant coaches respectively.
Chikwanda and Coach Banda have been tasked with the crucial mission of ensuring the Zambia Correctional Service sponsored side maintains its slot in the MTN Super league by the end of this campaign.
Elijah Chikwanda, a seasoned coach with a lot of experience at both local and international club levels, has also coached teams like Kabwe Warriors, Nkwazi and Green Eagles in Zambia.
He worked with Nico United and Notwane FC in Botswana, which brings invaluable experience to our Football Club.
Club Vice Chairman Senior Superintendent Mutale who was accompanied by the Secretary General Assistant Superintendent Wisdom Chewe during the official introduction of the new TD to the players confirmed the development, saying that the club has confidence that Elijah Chikwanda’s presence and Coach Banda’s guidence, the club can pull through this diffecult times and keep its slot in the MTN Super Division.
The club remains committed to securing the team’s status in the top flight league, and these latest developments underline the determination to achieve this objective.
