Power Dynamos Bolster Squad with Moses Phiri on Loan from Simba SC
MTN Super League defending champions, Power Dynamos, have made a significant addition to their squad with the acquisition of striker Moses Phiri. The talented attacker joins Abayellow on a short-term loan deal from Tanzanian giants, Simba SC.
In an official statement, Power Dynamos Football Club expressed their pleasure in welcoming Moses Phiri to the team. The addition of Phiri, who brings extensive experience to the squad, is expected to add a new dimension and contribute significantly to the team’s objectives for the second half of the 2023-2024 football season.
Moses Phiri, having previously played for Zanaco FC in the Zambian Premier League, ventured to Tanzania to join Simba Sports Club. During his time in Tanzania, Phiri showcased his skills and made a notable impact before returning to Zambia.
The loan move provides an opportunity for Phiri to contribute to Power Dynamos’ title defense and make a positive impact on the team’s performances in domestic and potentially continental competitions.
Alongside the arrival of Moses Phiri, Power Dynamos confirmed several player movements. Luka Chamanga and Raphael Mala Makubuli departed the club following the expiration of their contracts. Additionally, striker Thomas Chideu and midfielder Biston Banda left the team through mutual separation.
Further adjustments to the squad included loan deals for Steven Mwaba, Reagan Mtonga, and Laurent Muma, who joined Green Eagles FC, Trident FC, and Nkana FC, respectively.
As Power Dynamos reinforces its squad for the challenges ahead, the supporters anticipate exciting performances from Moses Phiri and the team as they navigate the competitions on both domestic and continental fronts.
