ZSL Roundup Week 23: Nkana Secure Victory
Week 23 of the Zambian Super League saw thrilling encounters and decisive victories as Nkana, Konkola Blades, Power Dynamos, FC MUZA, Nkwazi, and Red Arrows emerged triumphant.
Power Dynamos Extend Unbeaten Run
Power Dynamos continued their impressive form, extending their unbeaten streak to nine games with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Green Buffaloes. Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale’s early goal proved to be the difference, bringing Power Dynamos to 40 points, just five behind league leaders Red Arrows.
Red Arrows Maintain Lead
Red Arrows maintained their lead at the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 win over NAPSA Stars. Ackim Mumba’s decisive goal secured the victory, taking Red Arrows to 45 points and a three-point lead over their closest rivals.
Nkana Escapes Relegation Zone
In a crucial relegation battle, Nkana secured a vital 2-1 victory over Trident FC. Goals from Jacob Ngulube and Austin Banda propelled Nkana out of the relegation zone to 14th place, while Trident remains at the bottom of the table.

Blades Return to Winning Ways
Konkola Blades returned to winning ways with a solid 1-0 victory over Kansanshi Dynamos. Erick Etienne’s early goal sealed the win for Blades, providing a much-needed boost to their campaign.

FC MUZA claimed their second consecutive victory, edging past Forest Rangers with a 1-0 win, while Nkwazi secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Kabwe Warriors. ZESCO United and Green Eagles played out a 1-1 draw in a tightly contested encounter.
