Ndola giants ZESCO United have been crowned winners of a four-team international pre-season tournament staged on the Copperbelt after finishing the competition unbeaten.
The Ndola-based outfit accumulated seven points from three matches, securing two victories and one draw to finish at the top of the standings ahead of the new football season.
ZESCO United Dominate Tournament
ZESCO United opened their campaign with a 1-0 victory over reigning champions Power Dynamos, before recording another identical win against DRC side AS Simba.
The Electricity Boys then completed their tournament campaign with a goalless draw against Red Arrows, ensuring they remained unbeaten throughout the three-day competition.
The results gave ZESCO seven points from a possible nine and confirmed them as tournament winners.
Chipepo Pleased with Preparation
