Zambia Under 20 are the 2022 COSAFA Champions

The Zambia under-20 national team are this years COSAFA Champions after beating Mozambique 1- 0.

This becomes the 12 title and this is all thanks to Kingstone Mutandwa goal in the 35th minute.

The win also meant Zambia finished unbeaten in the competition having won all their group-stage matches and edged Angola 3-2 on post-match penalties in the semifinals.

Zambia has also booked a place at the 2023 Egypt U-20 Africa cup of nations and will be joined by Mozambique as Southern Africa’s representatives.
