Mufulira Wanderers Football Club have completed the signing of exciting forward Richwell King Simataa, securing his services on a two-year and five-month contract following his stint with Konkola Blades.
Simataa joins the nine-time league champions after impressing in the National Division, where he emerged as one of Konkola Blades’ most influential attacking players.
Proven Output in the National Division
During his time at Konkola Blades, Simataa recorded an impressive 8 goals and 9 assists, underlining his attacking quality, creativity, and consistent end product. His performances marked him out as a standout talent and attracted interest from several top-flight clubs.
Blessed with pace and close control, Simataa is a direct, skillful dribbler capable of operating across the front line, offering Wanderers tactical flexibility in wide and central attacking roles.
Already Integrated into the Squad
The club has confirmed that Simataa has successfully completed all formalities and has already joined team training sessions, as Mufulira Wanderers intensify preparations ahead of the resumption of the league.
His early integration is expected to accelerate his adaptation and allow him to compete immediately for a place in the matchday squad.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Acting Chief Executive Officer Evans Chiyanta welcomed the arrival of the new forward.
“We are happy as a club and glad that Richwell is now a Wanderers player. Squad depth with quality players is very important,” Chiyanta said.
He added that the club believes Simataa has the talent to settle quickly and contribute positively, while also revealing that Wanderers remain active in the transfer market as they aim for a stronger league finish than last season.
