RED ARROWS HOPING TO SUSTAIN THEIR LEAD WITH ANOTHER VICTORY AS THEY HOST BUILDCON
Red Arrows Head Coach Chisi Mbewe has declared his charges ready ahead of Week 26 clash against Buildcon Football club saying he expects a good game and positive result.
Meanwhile Mbewe has said at a Media briefing that Veteran Striker James Chamanga will not be available for selection in this fixture due to a mild fever. He also assured that the team has enough depth to cover up on the veteran hitman as well as others on light knocks.
” We are ready for Buildcon tomorrow. We prepared well and trained for this particular match. However, we have a few players with slight knocks as well as ‘big Jemba’ who has a slight fever.
And Team Captain Benedict Chepeshi said the team is highly motivated and looking forward to the game following their positive comebacks in their last games. The Captain added that unity and team spirit that the team is exhibiting in the dressing room and field of play is key and is pushing the team to success.
The Airmen continues to set the pace with a clear four points lead at the summit of the Zambia league with nine games to go.
Not so sensational ZANACO will host Power Dynamos who have been equally not impressive , however Mwenya Chipepo and his charges want to finish in the top four and this game is a good opportunity to try and push for their target.
ZANACO are occupying unfamiliar position eleven and they have been blowing hot and cold in the league. On Sunday they will return to the local front with a view of trying to resuscitate their form , having endured a harsh period of being beaten without honor in the CAF confederation cup three defeats on a trot.
After surviving a two match ultimatum from the Exco with the help of the fans , Beston Chambeshi and his Nkana team will go into tomorrows game with one objective which is an outright victory over Kafue Celtics would also want to take there chances as they swim in the relegation dog fight zone.
Title chasing Green Eagles who are second on the table will be hoping to inflict more pain on Indeni FC tomorrow who have lost five matches in the last five games.
Indeni chances of avoiding the drop are slowly deteriorating because of their form and soon the relegation waters could reach their bone jaws.
ZESCO United title chances are still alive and they will go into tomorrows game buoyed with confidence riding on a 3-0 over Buffaloes last week.
Blades also have being venomous in there last two games and would be hoping to maintain that as they face a galvanized at it’s own substation called levy Mwanawasa stadium
