NAPSA Stars Appoint New Captain for the 2024/25 Season
As NAPSA Stars prepare for the 2024/25 season, Head Coach Sipho Mumbi has announced a new leadership structure for the team. Former Zesco United defensive midfielder and 2024 COSAFA Cup Chipolopolo Captain, Dickson Chapa, has been appointed as the new captain. Chapa takes over from defender Luka Banda, who previously led the team through their journey from the National League to the Super League.
Coach Sipho Mumbi, determined to reinvigorate the squad after a challenging previous season, has made strategic changes to the team’s leadership. Under his guidance, NAPSA Stars aim to restore their competitive edge in the league. Last season saw the team struggle with consistency, particularly after the departure of top scorer Musonda Kapembwa, who moved to Mozambique for professional football.
Chapa’s appointment as captain reflects Coach Sipho’s confidence in his leadership abilities and experience on the field. Known for his fearlessness and tactical acumen, Chapa is expected to be a pivotal figure in NAPSA Stars’ campaign this season.
To support Chapa, Coach Mumbi has also named a robust infield leadership team:
Dickson Chapa – Captain: A fearless leader, set to lead the charge for NAPSA Stars.
Daniel Adoko – Vice Captain: Bringing intensity and fire to the team.
Gift Zulu – Second Vice Captain: Tasked with unlocking victories through strategic play.
David Odhiambo – Third Captain: Ensuring a secure and solid defense.
With this new leadership core in place, NAPSA Stars are gearing up for an electrifying season. The team is focused on making a strong comeback and aiming for success on all fronts. Coach Sipho Mumbi’s technical bench is expected to bring the best out of the squad, pushing for consistency and resilience throughout the season.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the impact of these four superstars at the helm, and with their leadership, NAPSA Stars are poised to make the 2024/25 season one to remember. The stage is set for a thrilling campaign, and the NAPSA Stars faithful are ready to rally behind their team as they aim for glory.
