Menayame Vingil Joins Mufulira Wanderers From Marine FC

Mufulira Wanderers Football Club have continued their impressive recruitment drive by completing the signing of Congolese attacking midfielder Menayame Ndombe Vingil on a two-and-a-half-year permanent contract.

The 20-year-old joins Abena Milambo from Rwandan Premier League side Marine FC, where he enjoyed a sensational campaign that established him as one of the league’s most exciting young talents.

His arrival further strengthens Wanderers’ squad ahead of the 2026 Transitional League season.

Outstanding Numbers in Rwanda

Vingil heads to Shinde Stadium after an exceptional season with Marine FC.

The gifted midfielder featured in 30 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing an impressive 18 assists, making him one of the most productive attacking midfielders in the league.

His creativity, vision and ability to influence matches attracted attention from several clubs before Wanderers secured his signature.

Born on 20 July 2005, Vingil is a product of DR Congo giants DC Motema Pembe (DCMP).

Although naturally an attacking midfielder, he is equally comfortable operating as a central midfielder or an inverted winger.

His ability to play with both feet and adapt to different attacking roles gives Mufulira Wanderers valuable tactical flexibility heading into the new season.

Ready for the New Challenge

Speaking after signing for the club, Vingil expressed his excitement about beginning a new chapter in Zambia.

“I am very happy to join Mufulira Wanderers Football Club. It’s a new challenge for me and I am motivated to help the team achieve its objectives.”

“I will give everything for the badge and the fans.”

Club Excited by New Arrival

Acting CEO Evans Chiyanta believes Wanderers have secured one of the region’s brightest young attacking talents.

“Menayame is a talented young player with creativity, vision and end product.”

“His numbers last season speak for themselves, and his versatility gives us different options in attack and midfield.”

“We believe he will adapt quickly and be a key part of our project as we continue building a competitive team.”
