KAMANGA VISITS TEAM AHEAD OF TOGO FIXTURE
FAZ president Andrew Kamanga has visited the Zambia Women National Team in training at Academie du FUS in Rabat ahead of Saturday’s 2022 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Group B encounter against Togo.
Kamanga watched the entirety of the training session where he spoke to the Bruce Mwape led technical bench and the players before passing on his message of support ahead of the last group B match.
Director of Sport John Zulu, FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala, FAZ national women’s representative Priscilla Katoba and other Ministry of Sports staff were present at the visit.
The Copper Queens head into Saturday’s match with their heads high following their 1-0 win over Tunisia that sent them to the summit of group B on four points, one better than second placed Tunisia and two better than third placed Cameroon. Togo have a point.
The match against Togo will kick-off at 22h00CAT at the Stade Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan.
