Ernest Kofi Confirmed as Trident FC Head Coach
Trident Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Ernest Kofi as Head Coach. Kofi has signed a one-year deal with an option for a further one-year extension based on performance.
Kofi, a holder of a UEFA B coaching license, served as the interim head coach since week 25 of the MTN/FAZ Super League. During his tenure, the Ghanaian coach led the team to 3 wins, 4 draws, and 3 losses out of the 10 games he managed. Notable achievements include consecutive away victories against Mufulira Wanderers and Konkola Blades FC at Shinde and Konkola Stadium, respectively, a resounding 4-1 home win against Green Eagles FC, and a draw against the formidable Power Dynamos FC.
Trident FC CEO, Mr. Man’gulenje Mvula, expressed confidence in Kofi’s abilities, stating, “We are happy to have concluded the contract signing with Coach Kofi. The Executive Committee has complete trust in him, and we wish him success this season.”
Ernest Kofi has been tasked with leading the team to qualify for the c and to secure a swift return to the MTN/FAZ Super League.
