ENOCK MWEPU’S STATICS VS SPURS
Mwepu’s aggressive play earned him a card in a game vs Tottenham. Mwepu was in action in a fierce EPL game that was played between Brighton and Tottenham. As usual he was at the edge of the box trying to steal a loose ball and stirring it – in the net but was blocked by a defender.
Mwepu committed 3 fouls and one earned him a card, this forced the manager to pull him out of the match in fear that he would pick up another card. Though the manager, Graham Potter said the change was tactical, he was conscious for him being on the card.
There was little to separate the teams at the end of first half, with few chances and far between for both sides to see a score. In the 90th minute, Leonardo Trossard won it. Brighton bagged all 3 points in a 1 nil lead.
The opening 45 minutes surrounded talking points of two players: Mwepu and Dejan facing off after a foul. With Zambian fans dubbing it ‘’the face Zambian player to look a Tottenham player direct in the eye.
