Copper Queens to play in Four-nations tournament

The Copper Queens team will take part in the Turkish Women’s Cup which is scheduled to take place from 13-22 February 2023 in the resort town of Alanya, Turkey.

The Four-Team tournament has attracted participation from hosts Turkey, Slovenia and the Copper Queens who will be using the contest to prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand in July.

February 15: Zambia vs Turkey
February 18: Slovenia vs Zambia
February 21: Zambia vs Uzbekistan

All the games will be played at the Miracle Sports Complex and Coach Bruce Mwape is expected to name a strong squad that comprises local and foreign-based players for the tournament.
