Copper Queens Humiliated With A 5 Nil Defeat
The Road to Morocco is getting bumpy, as the Copper Queens just suffered a total humiliation at the hands of their opponents, a 5 Nil Defeat.
The first goal came in the 37th minute through Rita Kivumbi and within a split second another goal was tallied in the 38th minute by Fauza Najjemba. Copper Queens could not hold their line properly, and with the pressure that was pressed, they eventually caused an own goal in the 44th minute.
By first half, the game was already 3 nil, and the impossible could not be achieved as the Copper Queens allowed another goal just after break in the 62nd minute, Nambi Violah made not mistake, followed by Ikwaput Fezilah who sealed the deal.
The team has given us a glimpse of what is to come in the AWCON tournament. Though this was just a friendly match, it gives a benefit of doubt as: are the girls ready to win it.
With only days to go before the big days, fans are left with a question: do they got what it takes to take on teams in the group?
