CHIKOTESHA MAKES CHAN CUT

ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR ZAMBIAN REFS AS CHIKOTESHA MAKES CHAN CUT

FIFA referee Diana Chikotesha has been named alongside Atezambong Fomo Carine of Cameroon as the only women assistant referees for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) Algeria 2022 (to be played in 2023).

Chikotesha and Carine will be part of the 19 male assistant referees that make up a total of 21 assistants that will assist 18 male referees and Vincentia Amedome of Togo who is the only female referee.

The tournament that will also have 12 VAR referees will be held from 13 January to 4 February 2023.
