The Airmen’s Road To Caf Champions League Stage

Red Arrows has been drawn against Nyasa Big Bullets of Malawi in the 1st Preliminary Round to be played between 16 and 25 August 2024 in the prestigious CAF Champions League competition.

Following the draws held today in Cairo, Arrows’ path has been laid out and all await Red Arrows to demonstrate their determination to show their pride on the continental stage.

Arrows vs Nyasa Bullets
The first challenge will be against Nyasa Big Bullets, a team from Malawi. This encounter promises to be a thrilling test. As the Airmen prepare for this crucial matchup, the players are undergoing rigorous training in the ongoing CECAFA tournament and their pre-season sessions to ensure they emerge victorious.

Play Offs – facing TP Mazembe
Should the Airmen triumph over Nyasa Big Bullets, the next opponent will be TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo. TP Mazembe is a team with a rich history and a formidable reputation in African football. However, Red Arrows will not be daunted by the challenge. They are preparing to be bigger Champions and look confident in their abilities, ready to face any adversary to secure a place in the group stage. That is what Champions do, they beat Champions to become Champions!

Like any other Club, the ultimate goal is to qualify for the CAF Champions League group stage. Achieving this milestone would not only be a testament to the hard work and dedication of players, coaching staff, and management but also a proud moment for the loyal fans and the Zambian football community at large.

The 2nd Preliminary Round or play-offs will be in September 2024.
