Red Arrows Welcome Back Alassane Diarra After Stint in Saudi Arabia
Malian midfielder Alassane Diarra has made a triumphant return to Nkoloma Stadium after a year-long absence.
Diarra previously left Red Arrows in July of the previous year to join Saudi Arabian Super League side Najran SC, signing a one-year contract.
The Airmen took to social media to officially announce the comeback of the former Kafue Celtic midfielder.
Diarra played a pivotal role in the Airmen’s triumph in the 2021/2022 Zambia Super League, and the team also reached the final of the ABSA Cup during his tenure. His consistent performance earned him the title of the club’s most consistent player of the season.
Diarra initially joined the Airmen in January 2020 from Kafue Celtic, following an impressive start to the 2019/2020 Eden University National Division One season. His return to the club is expected to bolster their midfield and contribute to their future success.
