Red Arrows Bolster Squad with Godfrey Ngwenya & Angel Lubamba
Zambia Super League champions Red Arrows have confirmed the acquisition of midfielder Godfrey Ngwenya and striker Angel Lubamba. The duo joins the Zambia Air Force-sponsored outfit on permanent deals from Power Dynamos and Nchanga Rangers, respectively. Additionally, defender Zephenia Phiri has returned to the club from his loan spell at Prisons Leopards.

- Angel Lubamba: Striker from Nchanga Rangers
The club announced the signings on social media, expressing excitement over the new additions. “The 2023/24 MTN Super League and ABSA Champions, Red Arrows Football Club, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of two exceptional talents: Angel Kieya Lubamba from Nchanga Rangers Football Club and Godfrey Ngwenya from Power Dynamos Football Club, both joining on permanent deals,” the statement read.
Return of Zephenia Phiri:
In addition to the new signings, Red Arrows have confirmed the return of defender Zephenia Phiri from his loan spell at Prisons Leopards. Phiri’s return is expected to bolster the club’s defensive options as they aim to defend their titles.
Club President’s Statement:
Club President Colonel Moses Kambimbi emphasized the club’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the squad. “Red Arrows Football Club remains on course to reinforce the squad and look forward to announcing further additions once all negotiations are finalised. For now, join us in welcoming these outstanding players to the Double Champions,” he said.
