Football careers do not always begin in famous academies or under the watchful eyes of major scouts. Some journeys are built quietly, far from the biggest stadiums, through difficult decisions, international moves, adaptation, setbacks and the determination to keep moving forward when the road becomes difficult.

The journey of Beninese striker Adnan Aziz is one of those stories.

Born on January 1, 2002, in Djougou, northern Benin, Aziz has spent the past several years pursuing his football career across different countries and football cultures. His journey has taken him from Benin to Italy, the Czech Republic and France, while also giving him the opportunity to represent Benin at youth international level.

Now 24, Aziz remains focused on one objective: finding the right environment to continue developing his career in European football and, ultimately, earning a place in the Benin senior national team.

The Beginning in Djougou

Every football journey has a starting point, and for Adnan Aziz, that starting point was Djougou.

It was there that football developed from a childhood passion into a serious ambition. His early football experiences included Tchemabi FC and later Soleil FC, where he began competing at a higher level and developing his identity as a striker.

His physical strength, ability to compete in duels, presence in the penalty area and willingness to play as a focal point in attack gradually became important aspects of his game. Aziz subsequently continued his football journey in France, where he became involved with Angers MFC and later Olympique Saumur.
