Maestro United Zambia Football Club (F.C. MUZA) have completed the signing of winger Daniel Malichani from Polish fourth-tier side Chełmianka Chełm, adding another attacking option to their squad ahead of the upcoming domestic campaign.
Malichani joins the Elegant Dynamites following an impressive 2024/25 season in Poland, where he established himself as one of the leading attacking players in the Chełm Regional League (Chełmska klasa okręgowa). The winger enjoyed a productive campaign in front of goal, demonstrating his ability to contribute both goals and assists.
The 2024/25 season saw Malichani score 16 goals and provide six assists in 1,870 minutes of action, placing him among the league’s leading scorers. His consistent attacking output has now earned him a move to F.C. MUZA, where the club will be hoping he can carry that form into the Zambian domestic game.
Malichani’s goalscoring record was a major highlight of his spell in Poland. Alongside his 16 goals, his six assists demonstrated his ability to contribute beyond simply finding the back of the net, giving MUZA an attacking player capable of creating opportunities for his teammates as well.
His arrival adds further competition and depth to the MUZA squad as the club prepares for the new domestic campaign. The Elegant Dynamites will be hoping that Malichani can quickly adapt to his new surroundings and translate his impressive form from Poland into performances for the club.
F.C. MUZA president Malawo Mweemba welcomed the winger’s arrival, saying the club believes his signing will strengthen the team and contribute towards achieving its targets.
“Management strongly believes that his arrival will help F.C. MUZA compete favourably and attain its targets,” Mweemba said.
For MUZA, the signing represents another step in preparations for the upcoming domestic campaign, with the club continuing to shape a squad capable of competing across the season.
Malichani now joins the growing list of additions to the Elegant Dynamites’ squad, bringing with him the confidence of a season in which he directly contributed to 22 goals through his 16 goals and six assists in Poland.
The focus will now turn to how quickly the winger settles into the MUZA setup and whether he can reproduce the attacking productivity that made him one of the notable scorers in the Chełm Regional League last season.
With the new domestic campaign approaching, F.C. MUZA will be hoping that Malichani’s goalscoring ability and creativity can provide an important boost as the Elegant Dynamites pursue their targets.
