MTN Super League: Week One Top Scorers
The 2024/2025 MTN Super League kicked off with some thrilling matches, and fans were treated to an exciting display of football. Across the league, a total of 16 goals were registered in the first week, showcasing the offensive prowess of the teams involved.
Christopher Zulu of Nkwazi emerged as the early leader on the top scorers’ chart, netting 2 goals to secure his position as the top scorer after Week One. Zulu’s performance was crucial in his team’s campaign, as they look to build momentum in the early stages of the league.
Forest Rangers and Nchanga Rangers stood out as the highest-scoring teams of the week, with several of their players making it onto the top scorers’ chart. Notably, Forest Rangers had three players—Quadri Kola, Tiki Chiluba, and Hope Katwishi—each contributing a goal to their team’s success. Similarly, Maxwell Mulutula, Elliot Kampukesa, and Laurent Mwanza all found the back of the net for Nchanga Rangers, signaling their intent to be a force in the league this season.
