MEET THE NEW AERIAL KING FOR CHIPOLOPOLO – AIME MABIKA

Aime Mabika bossed Congo Brazzaville in the air. He won most of the aerial balls and I loved that about him most. Zambia has in the recent past struggled to defend corners and free kicks as most of the defenders we had were short, When the Chipolopolo boys won AFCON the main defenders in Sunzu and Himonde were tall and usually won most of the aerial balls, something that made great players like Drogba who were known for scoring in the air fail in the final in 2012.
Mabika however, brings back the height advantage in the team and I think we can trust him going forward.
