LETS FACE THE TRUTH, KAMANGA HAS IMPROVED WOMEN FOOTBALL
There is one big problem here in Zambia, we don’t acknowledge the contribution of others when they are alive. However, let’s face the truth, irregardless of men failing to qualify to the AFCON, Andrew Kamanga has tremendously improved women’s football in Zambia.
If you don’t know, women football was not considered serious during the Kalusha Bwalya administration. Players were playing for free. They were given ma K50 at the end of the game. But today, women players get a winning bonus that is equal to what men get. Just beating Togo alone, the girls got $3000 each. Isnt this improvement. Awe, let’s appreciate where its due!
Besides that, the women now have a league. The last time we checked, women had no any organised league. This development has further made all of us to appreciate our women players by watching their matches in masses.
Further, that thinking that football is all about men must stop. That is discriminatory. It is the same with what happened to Barbra Banda. Let’s stop the tendency. Appreciate a person where it is due.
Yes we may fight him but we can’t take away his great achievements in women football.
