Kings Kangwa Shines in Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s 3-1 Win Over SC Ashdod
Chipolopolo midfielder Kings Kangwa was instrumental in Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s 3-1 victory over a ten-man SC Ashdod in an Israeli Premier League clash on Sunday. Kangwa scored in the 61st minute, doubling his team’s lead after Matan Baltaxa opened the scoring early in the second half. Ashdod managed to pull one back through an own goal by Guy Mizrahi, but Alon Turgeman sealed the win for Be’er Sheva in added time. Ashdod’s Emmanuel Agyei received a red card in the final minutes for a second bookable offense.
This victory propels Hapoel Be’er Sheva to 18 points, positioning them in third place and just a point behind leaders Beitar Jerusalem, who have a game in hand. Kangwa has been a consistent contributor this season with two goals and four assists, totaling six goal involvements so far.
Kangwa’s goal reflects his strong offensive instincts and ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities. His overall contribution to the team this season underscores his role as a key playmaker for Hapoel Be’er Sheva. The team’s ability to maintain control, even with Ashdod’s late push, demonstrates their resilience and tactical discipline.
Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s close standing behind the league leaders places them in a promising position as the season progresses. Kangwa’s consistent form could prove vital as the team continues its pursuit for the top spot in the Israeli Premier League. Fans will undoubtedly look to Kangwa to maintain his performance and drive Hapoel Be’er Sheva closer to the championship.
