KABWE WARRIORS HAVE CHANCES TO FINISH TOP 4

Kabwe warriors beat nkana as they battled it out at the ucar chitalu stadium , in a week 18 fixture played today .

Both teams rooted in an unfamiliar position which is the relegation zone and are doing everything within there possible to climb the ladder of the MTN super division league.

The narrow victory over Nkana as made Kabwe warriors to move one step further on the log table leapfrogging Nkwazi on position 16.

” It’s a good welcome on our part looking at how the team struggled in the first round. We really needed this win for us to improve on our confidence in the team , so that as we push in the next game our confidence will be high,” said Numba Mumamba.

“We need to get more wins as much as possible in the second round. We have to move out of the relegation and be on a respectable position. We still have a chance to finish in the top four brackets if only we continue winning. Our aim is first to move out of the relegation and then try as much as possible so that we can even finish in the top,” added Numba Mumamba.

“The boys played the game and I’m happy with the coordination from defense, midfield and upfront. All what we need is to have players who can come in and convert the chances we missed. One good thing is that we are able to reach the opponents goal but we need someone to put the ball in the back of the net.”

“The overall performance we played well and warriors only had one chance which is a penalty. We just have to look forward to the coming game.

“I have confidence in the team and we will surely fight to get out of where we are ,” said Beston Chambeshi.

Up next for Nkana is a tie against fellow strugglers Buildcon FC who recorded their first win of the season against Nchanga Rangers. While Kabwe warriors have to make a three hours drive trip to Ndola , to faced second placed Forest Rangers.
