Lower Leagues Transfer Window Highlights

Focus:Ama Soccer Academy

The transfer window drew to a close yesterday and our lower leagues were rocked with traffic of players switching colours by means permanent deals and loans alike.

Today I focus on Ama Soccer Academy, a sports club headquartered in Kabwe whose senior team campaigns in the FAZ Central Province division 2.

The hub of youth football saw both “exits” and “acquisitions” in the month long transfer window.

Two players used the exit door,Goal minder Zephaniah Makayi Jr (from Mumbwa) parted ways with the club on mutual separation and is now in the books of Mumbwa Modern Skills.

The Kamushanga outfits also bed farewell to 15 year old Innocent “Bakala” Nkolola who moved permanently to Kafue Celtics.

The hub of youth football welcomed goalie James Silwenga(15) from Mkushi who joined their ranks permanently.

Another notable acquisition was Central Defensive Midfielder Moses Chanda who joined the elite Kamushanga boys from Mumbwa’s Malata area.

The teams equally welcomed two players from their feeder ranks,Centre forward Muhammad Khan and midfielder Chirwa Festus got incorporated in the division 2 squadron from their own developmental ranks.

Ama Soccer Academy has a policy that grants every player under the club’s umbrella to have access to education and their training programmes are conducive to facilitate their “Education for all” & Back To School Initiative (BTSI) policy.
