Kabwe Warriors Football Club has confirmed the appointment of Jackson Mwanza as Assistant Coach, reuniting him with Head Coach George Chilufya. The two join the club on two-year deals after recently parting ways with Trident FC.

A Tactical Mind and Trusted Partner

Mwanza has built a strong reputation as a reliable assistant, known for his attention to detail and ability to connect with players on and off the pitch. His combination with Chilufya is expected to bring structure and continuity to Kabwe Warriors’ coaching bench.

Working as a Unit for Success

The coaching duo’s prior collaboration at Trident is expected to smoothen their transition into the Warriors setup.

“We just hope to work together as a unit, starting from the groundsman to the sponsor and everyone connected to the club,” Chilufya remarked, praising his backroom team’s importance.

Fresh Energy in the Technical Setup

Mwanza’s appointment reflects the club’s emphasis on unity, discipline, and ambition as they prepare for the 2025/26 MTN Super League season. The Warriors are building a backroom staff capable of taking the team to new heights.
