A New Chapter for Forest Rangers FC: Ian Bakala Appointed Head Coach
Ndola, 4th December 2024 – Forest Rangers FC has unveiled its new coaching lineup. Ian Bakala takes over as Head Coach, joined by Dennis Makinka as First Assistant Coach and Kennedy Kashobondo as Physical Trainer. The announcement marks a new chapter for the club as they aim to build on past successes and chart a path toward greater achievements.
Bakala and Kashobondo are no strangers to the Forest Rangers community, with both having played pivotal roles in the club’s history. Notably, their tenure includes leading the team to victory in the 2023 ABSA Cup and Charity Shield, showcasing their ability to inspire and deliver results. This move is seen as a strategic effort to strengthen the team’s technical depth and bring fresh energy to its ranks.
As the club welcomes this new leadership team, they also bid farewell to Manchi Janza, who served as interim Head Coach and First Assistant Coach. The club extended its heartfelt gratitude to Janza for his dedication and contributions, wishing him the best in his future endeavors.
