Copper Queens lose to Colombia in a friendly

The Zambia Women’s National Team was in action yesterday when they took on Colombia in a friendly.

The host managed to find the back of the net when Mayra Ramirez scored in the Sixth minute of the game.

The Copper Queens also came close to scoring in the 18th minute when they had a couple of chances but the Colombian goalkeeper protected her goal very well and the process she was injured.

The match was entertaining game with the host dominating and after 90 minutes of non-stop action the Mayra Ramirez goal was what separated the two side.

The two sides will face off again on Tuesday in the second match as they gear up for the World Cup next year.
