Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have kicked off their transfer activity with the signing of Bartuel Tembo, a dynamic winger from Kabwe Warriors, as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming MTN Super League campaign.
Tembo, who has been a consistent attacking threat in recent seasons, has signed a three-year deal with Abena Milambo, keeping him at Shinde Stadium until 2027. This marks the club’s first official signing of the off-season, under the leadership of newly appointed head coach Lameck Banda.
Tembo’s Impact at Kabwe Warriors
Since joining the Magnificent People’s Team ahead of the 2021/22 season, Tembo has racked up 19 goals and 22 assists, making 41 direct goal contributions in three seasons. His pace, vision, and ability to unlock defenses made him one of the standout performers at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.
Tembo’s stats reflect not only consistency but also versatility, with the ability to play across the front three—attributes that made him a valuable asset to Kabwe Warriors and now a major reinforcement for Mufulira Wanderers.
