Barbra Banda Did Not Make It To The CAF 2022 Player Of The Year Shortlist
The Barbra Banda issue is still hot with more revelations coming out puzzling football fanatics around the world. The latest has been that the new CAF shortlist for the player of the Year Award leaves much to be desired.
It seems after she was scrapped off her chance to participate in the ongoing AWCON Tournament, the latest is not being shortlisted among the 30 possible Winners of the player of the year award.
Meanwhile, Rachel Kundananji and Grace Chanda have made it to the list. More questions have surfaced. If The AWCON participation is one that determines a player to be shortlisted, why is Kundananji there if Barbra Banda was not included because of the fact that she is not participating the tournament?
There is still an ongoing debate that FAZ did not submit Banda’s name to CAF hence the president unaware of her being barred from the tournament, but why would the only 2 times Olympic hat trick scorer in history not included as one of the best players in Africa?
