Charity Mubanga Earns Call-Up to Copper Queens Squad
ZESCO Ndola Girls’ striker Charity Mubanga continues to assert her dominance in the FAZ Women’s Super League, solidifying her position as the league’s top scorer. Her exceptional performance was highlighted in the recent Week 26 encounter against Nkwazi Queens, where her solitary goal secured a crucial 1-0 victory for her team.
Mubanga’s headed goal in the 60th minute not only secured three points for ZESCO Ndola Girls but also propelled her to the top of the scoring charts with an impressive tally of 23 goals. Her consistent goal-scoring prowess has been instrumental in ZESCO Ndola Girls’ success this season, helping them maintain a two-point lead over defending champions Green Buffaloes.
In recognition of her outstanding form, Mubanga has earned a well-deserved call-up to the Copper Queens squad, further solidifying her status as one of the top talents in Zambian women’s football.
