Zambia’s Under-15 Football Team Ready to Debut in COSAFA Qualifiers
The Zambia Under-15 Football Team, both Boys and Girls, are poised to make their debut on the international stage in the CAF African Schools Football Championship, COSAFA Qualifiers 2nd edition. Scheduled for December 14-16, 2023, in Zimbabwe, the tournament will see Zambia competing in Group B alongside South Africa, Angola, Namibia, and Madagascar.
Having missed the inaugural event in Lilongwe, Malawi, last year, Zambia’s young footballers are eager to prove their worth and showcase their talent against strong opponents. The draw has placed them in a tough group, but the team is determined to rise to the challenge and secure a spot in the final championship.

Meanwhile, Group A will witness fierce competition between Zimbabwe, Malawi, Botswana, Eswatini, and Mozambique. With all teams vying for the coveted spots in the final stage, the tournament promises a thrilling display of footballing talent and an exciting platform for young players to shine on the continental level.
This competition serves as a crucial springboard for the development of young African footballers, providing them with valuable experience and exposure to high-level competition. As they strive for success in the COSAFA Qualifiers, Zambia’s Under-15 teams carry the hopes and aspirations of a nation, determined to make their mark on the international football scene.
