Zambia Surges in Futsal Rankings: Climbs to 85th in World, 6th in Africa
After their participation in the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, the Zambia National Futsal team has made significant progress in the rankings. They now hold the 85th position in the world and have climbed to the 6th spot in Africa. This improvement is notable as they have displaced South Africa, who previously held the same position.
During the Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, the Chipolopolo played commendably, securing a victory against Ghana. Although they faced defeats against the runners-up Angola and the tournament winners Morocco, their performance has evidently contributed to their rise in the rankings.
