TP Mazembe Eyeing MUZA Star Andrew Phiri

Congolese giants TP Mazembe have FC MUZA star Andrew Phiri on their list of potential transfer targets — as per reports in the DR Congo.

Mazembe are set to make wholesale changes to their squad as they prepare for their participation in the inaugural CAF Super League and have set their sights on a number of transfer targets.

With a number of players from Algeria, Mali and Lebanon having already arrived in Lubumbashi for assessment, the Ravens are now also looking to invite the Zambia U-23 international striker over to train with the club.

No official communication has been made with the player or MUZA and Mazembe could wait until the close of the MTN Super League season to make their move.

Phiri sits second on scorer’s chart in the Super League with 13 goals scored this season.
