Rachel Nachula’s Brace Leads Katamon to Victory
Zambian striker Rachel Nachula delivered an outstanding performance in Katamon’s 3-1 victory against Petah Tikva, netting a brace and providing a key assist. The game kicked off with Petah Tikva’s Lee Falkon opening the scoring in the 20th minute, but Nachula quickly responded two minutes later by capitalizing on a defensive mix-up to level the match. Just three minutes later, Nachula’s precise pass set up Ghanaian midfielder Doris Boaduwaa, giving Katamon the lead.

The former Green Buffaloes Women’s FC forward continued to dominate, sealing the win at the 60-minute mark with a well-timed header. Nachula was quick to react after the Petah Tikva goalkeeper failed to clear a long-range shot, allowing her to nod the ball home with ease. Her performance not only secured the win but also showcased her ability to influence the game with her attacking prowess.
Katamon’s victory has lifted them to 14 points from six matches, bringing them within just one point of league leaders Kiryat Gat. With Nachula in top form, Katamon is in a strong position as they push for the top spot in the league.
