Morocco’s women’s football team claimed a historic win over South Korea in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The team surprised the world with a 1-0 victory over South Korea, who are ranked 17th in the world. The win not only marked the team’s first win in the World Cup but also their first-ever goal in the tournament.

Morocco showed great resilience and determination throughout the match, coming from behind to secure the win through Ibtissam Jraidi in the 6th minute of the first half.
