Lazarous Kambole continued his impressive scoring form as Nkana FC maintained their perfect start to the 2026 MTN Super League Transitional Season with victory over Nchanga Rangers on Sunday.
Fresh from winning the Player of the Week award for Match Week Two, Kambole found the net again in Match Week Four as Nkana secured a 2-0 victory over Nchanga Rangers at home. The result extended their winning run to three matches and kept their record intact in the transitional campaign.
Patrick Gondwe opened the scoring in the 44th minute before Kambole added the second in the 39th minute.
Nkana’s latest victory takes them to nine points from three matches, keeping them at the summit of Stream A with a goal difference of plus six. FC MUZA sit second with seven points as the race for early-season supremacy continues.
Kambole’s scoring run is becoming a major talking point, with the striker finding the net in each of Nkana’s three matches so far. His continued contribution has helped the Kitwe giants turn their strong start into a commanding position at the top of the table.
With maximum points secured from their opening three fixtures, Nkana will be keen to maintain their momentum and build on the consistency that has defined their start to the transitional league season.
