Kings Kangwa Attracts Interest from Bulgarian Champions
Chipolopolo midfielder Klings Kangwa has opted to stay at Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva despite strong interest from Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia. His agent, Nir Karin, confirmed Sofia’s approach but emphasized that Kangwa is focused on his current team and ambitions for the Israeli championship.
Having joined Be’er Sheva four months ago from Red Star Belgrade, Kangwa has impressed with two goals and four assists in 11 games across all competitions. The club values the Zambian international highly, placing a €5 million price tag on him.

Karin described Kangwa as playing his best football in years and highlighted his commitment to Be’er Sheva, where he remains under contract until 2028. While Sofia presented an opportunity, Karin noted that Be’er Sheva’s stature and competitive environment make it the ideal place for Kangwa to excel this season.
The decision underscores Kangwa’s focus on contributing to Be’er Sheva’s success while solidifying his role as a pivotal player for both club and country.
