Copper Queens to play Phoenix FC tomorrow in an international friendly
Fresh from a 1-1 draw against Morocco Women‘s National Team last weekend, the Copper Queens will be back in action tomorrow against Moroccan Women’s Botola Pro. Division 2 side Phoenix Feminin Football Club.
The international friendly match set for 16:00 hours local time which is 17:00 hours Zambian Time.
The Copper Queens are in Group B at this year’s 12th edition of the Women Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) alongside old timers Cameroon whom they will play with on 3rd July.
The semi-finalists will automatically earn themselves a spot at next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand while two quarter-finalists will have to battle it out in the intercontinental playoffs to book a ticket at the world’s biggest women’s tournament.
