Copper Queens goalkeeper Hazel Nali has joined Turkish Women’s Super League outfit Fatih Vatan Spor.
Nali whose last club was Hapoel Beer’sheva in Israel clinched a professional deal that will see her at the Fatih based side in Istanbul until the rest of the current 2021/22 Turkish Women’s Super League season with an option of extending the contract.
Fatih Vatan who will be in action tomorrow against Altay are in Group A of the Turkish Women’s Super League and they are occupying second position on the table with 25 points, 5 behind log leaders Besiktas.
Nali is the latest Copper Queens player to move abroad within a week after Margaret Belemu recently joined Chinese Women’s Super League side Shanghai Shengli from Red Arrows Women Football Club.
The Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) bound shot goal stopper will reunite with Copper Queens midfielder Misozi Zulu in Turkey who is on the books of Hakkaigucu who are in Group B in the Turkish Women’s Super League.
Nali played for Nchanga Queens from 2009 to 2014 before she moved to Indeni Roses the following year were she spent 2 years at the Ndola based side.
She then went to Lusaka and joined Green Buffaloes in 2017 until her recent move in 2020 to Israeli based side Hapoel Beer Sheva Women’s Football Club.
