Copper Queens dates Tanzania in the semi-finals of COSAFA Women’s Championship
The Zambia Women’s National Team will play Tanzania in the 2022 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship semi-final at Isaac Wolfson stadium on Friday 9 September, 2022.
Kick-off will be at 12h00 and the repeat of the 2021 semi-final fixture will be live on SuperSport, GOtv and will be streamed live on Cosafa.tv and FIFA+.
In last year’s encounter, Zambia lost 3-2 to Tanzania on post-match after a 1-1 draw in a tightly contested fixture.
The semi-final was confirmed at the conclusion of Group C fixtures when guest nation and defending champions Tanzania beat Malawi 3-1 to finish top of the pool with seven points.
Hosts South Africa will take on third best-placed finishers Namibia in the other semi-final on 9 September at 15h30.
Both the third/fourth classification match and the final will be held on Sunday 11 September at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium at 12h00 and 15h30 respectively
